No nation speaks it, but all pilots understand it!

Aero Language  represents aviation English and  aviation language  in general. The aviation language  is a complex of standardized messages, abbreviations, and formulations. It is spoken by all pilots. Or at least, it should be...

The native tongue of pilots

What Latin is for doctors, aviation language  and aviation English  is for pilots, air traffic controllers, cabin crew, and aircraft mechanics. It can be said that it is a language of its own - it uses many idioms, phrases, collocations, and (usually three-letter long) abbreviations. A number of phrases, abbreviations, and standard expressions comprise a simplified English which should be understood by everyone working in aviation. Aviation language  consists of many abbreviations, thus, METAR, TAF, RWY, or expressions such as ROGER and WILCO are internationally respected and understood.
