What is aviation English?

Aviation English is an unformal aviation language. No nation speaks it - all pilots understand it

Aviation English consists of all of the following:

• complex of standardized messages (standard phraseology)
• abbreviations,
• special three-letter codes abbreviation
• coded messages (for METAR, TAF, NOTAM, etc)
• technical English - e.g. related to the aircraft parts, technologies, systems, etc
• plain text spoken in pre-determined order
• and many more
